The Salinas Valley Basin Groundwater Sustinability Agency (SVBGSA) Board of Directors has adopted Portfolio 3A as its preferred process for its Integrated Implementation Pathway.
Portfolio 3A includes:
- A smaller Brackish Groundwater Recharge Project (BGRP) with partial direct delivery to local water agencies and partial injection
- Castroville and Eastside recharge basins
- Castroville Seawater Intrusion Project optimization
- A 10% agricultural demand management
- Deep Aquifers demand management
- Corral de Tierra demand management
